Faye C. Stokes, DDS

Dr. Faye Stokes was born and raised in Michigan City. She joined the staff at Michigan City Dental, P.C. in 2002 as an assistant to her father, now retired Dr. Thomas Stokes II. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science as a prestigious Indiana University Cox Scholar and Honors Scholar in 2010, and then to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2014, also at Indiana University.

Dr. Stokes is committed to a holistic, patient-centered approach to dentistry. With her degree in nutrition, additional minors in psychology, biology, and chemistry, and her training through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics she uses her advanced understanding of a patient’s dental and medical needs to meet their desires for achieving a healthy and beautiful smile.

Dr. Stokes is skilled in computerized 3-D scanning and design, combining artistry with science so that her patients can have a comfortable experience while being an active part in the planning and design of their smiles. As an Associate Fellow of the Academy of GP Orthodontics, she has trained over the course of several years to utilize braces and clear aligners to help young smiles that are still growing as well as well-loved smiles that need restored.

Smith Center for young girls in our community. She has been on the Board of Directors.of the Michigan City Chamber of Commerce, of which Michigan City Dental P.C. has been a member for over 70 years. Michigan City Dental began as a small dental practice started by Dr. Wayne Dunlop in 1952. He rented out a suite in a building on 10th street until he was joined by Dr. John Daher in 1958. The photo shows Dr. Wayne and Jeri Dunlop (L) and Dr. John and Maureen Daher (R) enjoying time together that year. Both doctors have since passed on, but we continue to hear wonderful stories about them from our longtime patients.
