I have had both fillings & crowns from Dr. Stokes. She is the most painless dentist I have ever been to. She is also an artist when it comes to cosmetic dentistry. I have 1/2 dozen crowns from different dentists at different times.They look like they were done by amatures compared to the one Dr. Stokes did. I had a wonderful experience at this office, I was a new patient and I can only say great things about this place. Dr. Harmon was awesome, he was very efficient and answered all questions throughly. Everyone was super nice and they even have a talking parrot who asks for crackers! I was very comfortable during my cleaning, the hygienist was excellent! I had a wonderful experience with this practice. I brought my two small children in for their first dental exams here. The staff was great with them, so much so, that my kids ask when they can go back next.
I recently had my own experience with them too. I noticed one evening I felt like I had chipped a molar in my mouth. I call first thing and they got me in that day. I told the lady on the phone that I had a lot of anxiety about the dentist and she assured me that it would be okay. I went in and the staff was so kind to me. I needed to have a procedure done to fix the Tooth and I told the Dentist and his assistant that’d I’d never had a procedure a dental procedure done before. They took extra care to explain what they were going to do and made sure I had no pain during the procedure.

Dr. Harmon and Dr. Stokes are amazing. I’m so happy I found Michigan City Dental, and decided to choose them to get all my work done. As I’m sure many are, I avoided the dentist for WAYYY to long, and suffered the consequences with needing major work done. Dr. Harmon was so great in explaining what I needed, always made sure I understood everything, and made sure I was completely comfortable in every appointment. Whenever I had any discomfort or issues on off business hours, I would leave a message and he got back to me extremely fast.

Before Dr Faye I was a patient of her father, Dr Thomas, now retired, which makes me a patient of the Stokes family for 25+ years. I found the transfer from Dr Tom to Dr Faye quite seamless. She is gentle, has a sense of humor and is willing to spend time with me. The atmosphere of her offices is extremely pleasant and her hygienist, Vicki, is a pleasure at each cleaning.
