Tooth Colored, Natural Looking Fillings

Our office strives to use the most up-to-date and scientifically proven technology. This includes using advanced restorative materials. When we find a “cavity” or tooth decay, if caught early enough, we can fill the cavity without even having to drill using an infiltrative tooth colored resin that permeates the spaces inside the cavity. Even if the cavity is bigger, our filling materials will still be tooth colored. Our goal is that when you look at your new restoration, all you will see is tooth!

Cosmetic Bonding

Restorative materials are so strong now, that often a broken or misshapen tooth can be fixed by simply bonding a tooth colored filling to the broken area. In the past, a chip in a tooth meant that the tooth would need to be crowned to be repaired, and the spaces in between teeth would have to be filled with porcelain too. Now, composite resin can be placed and contoured to the desired shape of your tooth. We have many shades and consistencies so that we match your tooth’s color, and we polish the resin to a high gloss so that at the end of the day, all we want you see is beautiful healthy teeth!

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are a thin layer of custom crafted porcelain that covers the front, and sometimes the sides of teeth. Veneers are used in many situations, but most often we find that patients come in with a healthy smile that they simply want to improve visually, due to things like spaces in between teeth, discoloration, crookedness, or chips and wear. To place veneers, little or no tooth has to be removed because veneers can be as thin as 0.3 mm, but can be that still can make quite a difference! Veneers can transform an entire smile with very little effort from our patient!

We also have a state of the art CEREC ® scanner that allows us to create most impressions in record time and deliver same day veneers!

CEREC ® One-Visit Crowns And Restorations

Patients getting their restorations done with Cerec technology are absolutely blown away by the what we can design right in front of their eyes. With Cerec, we are able to make a porcelain restoration to fit your tooth while you sit in our chair and watch. Patients are free to ask questions and supply input so that their restoration is exactly what they image.

Good Explanation

With Cerec, we no longer need to take impressions, rather, we use our scanning wand to take hundreds of pictures of the teeth needing dental treatment. Best of all, a scan takes about 20 seconds. The Cerec computer then stitches those pictures into a 3D model, which we use to design a porcelain restoration to fit into whatever tooth structure is missing. We use a milling machine to cut the porcelain in the shape of the missing part of your tooth, and then it is bonded into place. This is all done while you sit in the chair and relax. If you have a particularly colorful tooth, or if we are matching crowns you already have, there is no worry, we match it while you watch. We can hand stain a crown before we glaze it, sealing the colors into the crown, baking it in a kiln in a process that makes the color a permanent part of the crown. We have had patients tell us they were happy they needed a crown because of how great their hand stained tooth looks!

One Visit And Take Home Teeth Whitening

Teeth WhiteningEveryone deserves to have the youthful, white smile they have always wanted. The media advertises many ways to whiten teeth. There are even home remedies in magazines and daily blogs, however, not all of these ways work, and not all of these ways are healthy for your teeth. Our office offers effective, safe, dental whitening using clinically tested products.

In-Office Whitening

Our in-office whitening uses a high strength whitening solution, applied by our dental professionals, that goes into the substructure of your tooth and dissolve the stains causing discoloration. This is a great procedure that takes less than an hour, yielding visible results. It is perfect for those who don’t have time to worry about whitening products to use every day, or who need white teeth quickly, like for a job interview, a wedding, or a reunion.

Take-Home Whitening

Our take-home whitening is a more relaxed approach. We make custom whitening trays that slip on over your teeth, and we provide you with professional home whitening solution. You then fill the trays with the whitening solution and wear them for a short period of time each day. These trays can be worn in the comfort of your own home, or whenever is best for you. You can use them to get to a specific shade you like, and when your desired smile is achieved, you simply stop wearing them. Take home whitening is great for those who don’t want to sit in a dental chair for the process, who are looking for a more budget friendly option, or who have sensitive teeth.

Removal Of Unsightly White Spots

Removal Of UnsightlyWhite, opaque spots are fairly common on teeth, and can they have a variety of causes. Patients often mention that they are self-conscious about them, and often don’t realize that they can often be fixed! White spots are due to a lack of mineralization of the enamel, meaning that the enamel isn’t dense enough in those areas. We can reduce or completely remove the appearance of white spots with a variety of treatments. The most popular, quick and painless way to do this is with Icon, a material that infiltrates the structure of the tooth, returning the enamel to its natural color.

Dental Implants

Dental Implant CrownsWhat can you do when you are missing teeth in only one area? One potential option is dental implants. Dental implants can be used in almost any area of the mouth to replace missing teeth. They can be placed singly, to replace one missing tooth, or in pairs that form a bridge, to replace a series of missing teeth.

Implants have been used for decades to help patients have strong healthy smiles. They have been proven to be safe, and can be beautiful and long lasting. The process of getting dental implants starts with having the implant placed. Once the implant is secure (a process which may involve healing time) a crown is placed on the implant. The crown is made of porcelain and supported by titanium. it is custom designed to look like a natural tooth, matching your existing teeth and smile. Once your crown is placed, it can be difficult for even a dentist to tell which tooth is false by looking at them!

Permanent Bridges

BridgesWhat can you do when you are missing one tooth? One potential option is to have a bridge placed. A permanent bridge involves placing crowns on the teeth on either side of the space, connecting them through a pontic (which is a tooth made of porcelain). The pontic is designed to look like it is growing right out of the gums, just like your other teeth. It is cemented into place on either side, and becomes a permanent replacement tooth that you can eat with, and you can be proud to show in your smile.

Complete Dentures

A complete denture is an option for patients who are missing, or need to have extracted, all of the teeth in their maxilla, or mandible. A complete denture is custom made to fit each patient. They are usually made of acrylic and are specifically designed to match the color of the patient’s gums. The dentist and patient work together to choose the size, color, and shape of teeth to give the patient the smile that they desire. A custom designed denture can be both beautiful and natural looking!

Clear Aligner Orthodontics

With new dental technology we can straighten crooked teeth with nearly invisible retainers. These retainers apply light pressure to teeth that are crooked or spaced apart, gently ushering them into their rightful location in your smile, giving you the straight, beautiful smile you have always wanted!

Botox® Cosmetic Injections

1Botox® works by relaxing muscles that are overworking, causing wrinkles in the skin over top of those muscles. For example, we can use Botox® for smoothing out the fine wrinkles that form around the mouth, often called “smoker’s lines” or “water bottle lines”. On most patients Botox® takes effect in just a few days, and lasts for months.

Botox® has been also approved by the FDA for painful conditions potentially related to TMJ disorder, such as migraines. Botox® relieves jaw tension by relaxing the muscles that engage in the powerful, often unconscious movement of the jaw that produces headaches and pain. Botox® treatment for TMJ disorders and migraines is usually quick, straightforward, and effective. Most patients experience noticeable improvement within a few days.
